Matthew Neeley, MBA, MHSA
CEO/President
Mr. Neeley is a values-driven leader, whose commitment to the field is and has been both significant and indisputable. With over three decades of service in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, Matthew has helped thousands of residents enjoy happy and full lives and hundreds of associates enjoy meaningful employment in a superior work environment. He has led a strong and capable leadership team though great external challenges into marked growth and prosperity.
He’s actively served on multiple nonprofit boards, including Community Senior Services, La Verne/San Dimas Meals on Wheels, Rotary International and Chaffey College Gerontology Advisory Committee, Bright Prospect and as an Executive Committee member of the Fellowship of Brethren Homes. He has served as an Adjunct Professor for the University of La Verne teaching graduate level Gerontology classes.
Matthew remains active in the broader community, in legislative leadership within LeadingAge and in facilitating the LeadingAge California EMERGE Leadership development program serving the 500 members throughout the State of California. He has served on the Association’s Public Policy Committee since 2006 and as its chair from 2022 to 2024. Matthew is one of the 30 inaugural fellows of the LeadingAge National Leadership Academy, class of 2007.
Matthew earned his MBA and Master of Health Services Administration degrees from Arizona State University and a Certificate in Gerontology and a BS in Business Management from Brigham Young University.
On a personal level, Matthew plays the piano and enjoys composing and publishing music, sketching and writing poetry. He loves fly-fishing, organic gardening and family history research. Mr. Neeley is fluent in written and oral Spanish, having lived five years of his life in Spanish-speaking countries. Matthew and his wife Angela have four children and one granddaughter. Lastly, Matthew is active in his faith community and enjoys interfaith service and building bridges of understanding with others.
