Curvatures

April-June, 2025

Contemporary and Modern Artist: Debra Lynn Manville

When painted, my compositions spring to life to visually confess a story, animating the painting for the viewer. My favorite parts of my work are the ways that the shapes speak and connect. The mystery in the dark corners. The sharp and spiky shapes vs the squooshy shapes. The multitude of color tints within each piece ranging from fluorescent to muted to colorful. My hope is that I, as a messenger, successfully transmit the message between giant, magical thought forms, to pronounce and accent what needs to be seen and heard.

Eye of The Mind

January 6th-March 27th, 2025

Gary Colby, Amy Maloof and Max Prothro

“Eye of The Mind” is a fun and thought-provoking exhibit bound to generate spirited conversation.

Art, by its very nature, is subjective. These artists express their perception in an art form, and the viewer interprets it, each based on their own life experience, beliefs, values and aesthetic sensitivity. The joy for the artist comes not only from expressing very personal perspectives through an art form but also from stimulating the viewer’s understanding of that art. The interpretation and the artist’s perspective don’t have to be the same; it’s the wonder that happens when the “eye of the mind” of both opens wider and sees new possibilities.

Seeing One Another

October 7th, 2024-January 1st, 2025

Tierra del Sol Studios: Tony Barnes, Chelsea Lenninger, Christiam Osorio and Daniel Padilla

Champions of inclusion and value for all people with disabilities.

The subjects of this exhibit are people in the act of seeing, people whose gazes are directed at us. The artwork allows us to see how each artist sees their subject. We find ourselves in a relationship—an opportunity for receptivity.

Abundance

July 8th-September 27th, 2024

Jerry Owens, Painter

Champions of inclusion and value for all people with disabilities.

Artist’s Statement: I have been painting most of my life. Creating images has been my way of communicating and re-creating somehow what I believe God has given to all of us. All you have to do is look around to see the abundance of blessings bestowed. Recognizing this abundance in my life has filled me with inner peace, gratitude, love and fulfillment. I believe this will be the last public showing of my art, as I want to explore other creative ways to communicate the lavish abundance in all our lives.

Life in Bloom

April 8th-June 27th, 2024

Myra Epstein, Still Life Artist

Champions of inclusion and value for all people with disabilities.

Artist’s Statement: I love painting still life because I am fascinated by the way the still life genre draws upon social and cultural history. Instinctively, my color palette changed radically when I began painting in Southern California, graduating rapidly to more vibrant primary colors from the subtle tones I used in England.
