SUMMARY:Six-Word Memoirs® with Author Larry Smith
DESCRIPTION:Six-word narrative writing has already become a favorite event at Hillcrest. Now\, the person who started it all is taking the lead. Join us for a special event hosted by Larry Smith\, creator of Six-Word Memoirs® and author of the book Not Quite What I Was Planning: Six-Word Memoirs by Writers Famous and Obscure. Larry will share how the idea grew into a storytelling phenomenon and some of the unforgettable memoirs he’s collected along the way. Then he’ll guide you as you create a six-word memoir of your own. \nLarry Smith is the creator of the Six-Word Memoirs® project\, which has been featured by The New York Times\, NPR and The New Yorker. Oprah Magazine has said Larry is on a “quest to spark the creativity in everyone.” \nRSVP Here
